Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple large-scale aviation terminal projects across Pan India. The ideal candidate will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and clients on a demanding portfolio.

With a minimum 12 years in infrastructure, at least 5 in aviation terminals, and certifications like PMP or PRINCE2, you will drive delivery, governance, risk management, and reporting in a fast-paced, on-site role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; Master’s preferred.
  • 12+ years in managing large infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in aviation terminal building projects.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of aviation terminal projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
  • Act as primary contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders to address challenges and progress smoothly.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence within the project team.
  • Implement robust quality control to meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality.

Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple large-scale preferred aviation terminal building projects across Pan India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery while meeting quality, budget, and timeline objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of aviation terminal building projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders to address project challenges and ensure smooth progress.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the project team.
  • Implement robust quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with approved plans.
  • Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns through proactive risk management.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and financial records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Project Management or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in aviation terminal building projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation terminal design, construction processes, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with advanced project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, BIM).
