Job summary

Pallium India in Thiruvananthapuram invites a Project Coordinator to drive healthcare projects across multiple institutions, overseeing planning, training, mentoring, monitoring, data management, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of objectives.

You will coordinate field activities, manage stakeholder communication, and contribute to research and documentation while supervising the Junior Project Coordinator. A Masters or MBBS with 5+ years in project coordination is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Admin, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or MBBS.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in project coordination or healthcare programmes.
• Experience coordinating multi-institution projects is an advantage.

Job Purpose

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the effective coordination and implementation of healthcare projects involving multiple participating institutions and stakeholders. The role will support project planning, training and mentoring, implementation monitoring, data management, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and field activities, while ensuring that project activities are delivered on time and in accordance with approved protocols and objectives.

Qualification

Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline, or MBBS

Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in project coordination, healthcare programmes, public health, research, implementation, or a related field. Experience in coordinating projects involving multiple institutions or centres will be an advantage.

Skills Required

• Strong project planning, coordination, and multi-centre implementation skills.
• Experience in monitoring & evaluation, data management, reporting, and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in cancer care, palliative care, public health, implementation research, or implementation science is desirable.
• Knowledge of research methodology and experience with REDCap, Kobo Toolbox, SPSS, R, or similar platforms will be an advantage.
• Research experience and/or publications in peer-reviewed journals will be an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake project-related field visits.
