Job Title: Project Coordinator – Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T)
Experience: 3–7 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Instrumentation or equivalent
Role Objective
To coordinate and support the execution of Railway Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) projects by ensuring timely planning, documentation, stakeholder coordination, material tracking, and progress monitoring while maintaining compliance with client specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day execution activities for Railway S&T projects.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project milestones.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Construction Managers, QA/QC teams, Stores, Vendors, and Subcontractors.
- Track installation and commissioning progress of S&T systems including:
- Electronic Interlocking (EI)
- IPS (Integrated Power Supply)
- OFC Network
- Data Loggers
- Axle Counters
- Block Instruments
- Station Equipment
- Outdoor Signalling Works
- Maintain project documentation including DPR, WPR, MPR, MOMs, site records, and client correspondence.
- Follow up for engineering drawings, approvals, inspections, and material availability.
- Coordinate material movement between stores and project sites.
- Support billing activities by maintaining work progress records and measurement documentation.
- Track project risks, delays, and critical issues and elevate to the Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments for smooth project execution.

- Knowledge of signalling drawings, cable route plans, and commissioning documentation
- Proficiency in:
- MS Excel (Advanced)
- MS Project (Basic)
- AutoCAD (Basic)
- ERP/SAP (Preferred)
- MS PowerPoint & Word
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Railway EPC projects involving S&T works.
- Exposure to installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across multiple project sites.
- Knowledge of client documentation and inspection processes.
- Experience with project reporting and MIS preparation.
