Job summary

gramsathi is seeking a development and sustainability-focused project coordinator to plan programs, allocate resources, and align activities with objectives. You will work across departments and with external partners to ensure timely delivery of project activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring impact, reporting progress to stakeholders, and promoting collaboration with clients during audits and site visits.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Social work, Developmental Studies, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) in a related field is a plus.
  • Around 2 to 4 years of experience in development & sustainability, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social impact strategies, sustainability frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to work across departments and with external partners to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical skills to measure and report the impact of social initiatives using relevant metrics.

Responsibilities

Creating Program Budgets and Allocating Resources

  • Strategically planning and managing financial resources to ensure the successful implementation of project activities.
  • Handling and considering factors the project’s goals and objectives, anticipated expenses, available funding sources for project activities.
Monitoring and Evaluating Project Impact
  • Monitoring and evaluating project impact project management process.
  • Measuring and assessing the outcomes and effectiveness of their projects, intended goals and making a positive impact.
Promoting Team Collaboration and Communication
  • Reach out to preliminary action & audits, and develop tailored action plans for each client.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with partners with relevant capacities and inclinations. Provide hands‑on support to clients, and conduct site visits for audits and inspections.
Reporting Project Progress and Outcomes
  • Reporting project progress and outcomes is a crucial aspect of coordination role.
  • Collecting and analysing data to measure the effectiveness and impact of the project.
  • Provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of the project’s achievements and areas for improvement.
