Job summary

Nirmaan Organization is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead implementation of a women’s entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and agri-food processing programme at the assigned location.

You will manage centre operations, field teams, beneficiary engagement, and training delivery, collaborating with SHGs, FPOs, government bodies, and local stakeholders to drive sustainable outcomes for women beneficiaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination or development programs.
• Fluency in the local language and willingness to travel to field locations.
• Strong stakeholder management and community engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MIS, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project and centre operations to ensure plans are delivered on time and to quality standards.
• Supervise and mentor Mobilizers, Trainers, and Centre/Support Staff.
• Drive mobilization and enrollment of women beneficiaries and build ties with SHGs, FPOs, and community leaders.
• Support setup of women-led micro-enterprises including sourcing, costing, packaging, and market access.
• Identify and facilitate B2B/B2C market linkages, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.
• Build relationships with government departments, SHGs, and financial institutions.
• Maintain accurate records; prepare progress reports and MIS updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project and centre operations, ensuring training and mobilization plans are delivered on time and to quality standards
• Supervise and mentor Mobilizers, Trainers, and Centre/Support Staff
• Drive mobilization and enrollment of women beneficiaries; build strong ties with SHGs, FPOs, and community leaders
• Support setup of women-led micro-enterprises, including raw material sourcing, costing, packaging, and market access
• Identify and facilitate B2B/B2C market linkages, exhibitions, and buyer meetings
• Build relationships with government departments, FPOs, SHG federations, and financial institutions
• Maintain accurate records; prepare progress reports, MIS updates, and document success stories
