The candidate will track budgets vs. actuals, assist with Change Orders and claims, and ensure accurate invoicing and cash flow reporting for a turnkey project.

Qualifications

• CMA/CA/MBA with 8–10 years’ experience in handling turnkey projects.
• Knowledge of statutory SAP and management reporting is required.
• Strong accounting, tax and project controlling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Work Breakdown Structure and budgets for the project.
• Prepare and track cost-to-complete estimates and earned value.
• Monthly project result reporting and variance explanations.
• Coordinate with Project Planner on schedules and forecasts.
• Support Change Orders, contract claims, and invoicing tracking.
• Monitor cash flow and reconcile PO requisitions with budgets.

The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India. Accountabilities: Project level responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: In conjunction with Project Team, develop the Work Breakdown Structure and Budgets for the project Work with Work Package Leaders (WPL) to develop accurate cost to complete estimates and percent complete evaluations Track, monitor and report planned budgets/forecast vs. actual spend using project controlling tools (SAP, PCS and other tools). Provide variance explanations and possible recovery plan actions Work with Project Planner to review latest schedule and quarterly report the Earned Value Monthly reporting of project results Assist with the preparation, processing and tracking of contract Change Orders Work with the project manager to assist with the preparation and tracking of potential claims for additional work Track internal and external invoicing and reconciliation of cash receipts and retention. Understand and report on the cash flow position of the project Work with global controllers for Intracompany projects Track subcontractor invoicing, payments and reconciliations Review and approve Purchase Order Requisitions in alignment with budget and track P.O.s in PCS. Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget and reporting of the key performance indicators for the project Monitor the financial “health” of the project and raise the “red flag” when a negative impact or condition arises. Calculate EVA at global level in accordance with group controlling mode Resolve of queries from global reporting on actual, variance to budget, workload, risk , opportunities etc Support functional Manager on project progress, key numbers and other assignments like arbitration, claims etc. Support local ADMN in filling of Lower tax and other fillings as per statute Address queries both from Statutory, Internal and Global auditor. Resolve open points with auditor pertains to project progress, delay, un-billed revenue, cost overrun, EOT etc. Required Skills/ Knowledge: 10-15 Years of experience Knowledge of statutory (SAP) and management (reporting) Tools Knowledge in Project cost control, Project Management Expertise of Accounting & finance, Tax, requirements Knowledge of legal requirements (Contract clauses , Bond text; L/C ...) Languages: English and Other Indian Language.
