Job summary

Veolia in Bengaluru seeks a Planner/Scheduler specializing in Primavera P6 and SAP to support large projects in water, waste and energy. You will develop the initial schedule, identify milestones and dependencies, and freeze the schedule at the planning set up meeting.

You will update during execution and document changes with the Project Manager and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has BE and 7–10 years of hands-on project controls experience with Primavera P6 and SAP, plus strong coordination

Qualifications

• BE degree with Primavera P6 expertise and 7–10 years of project controls experience.
• Experience in scheduling and SAP tasks for project closeout and invoicing.
• Strong collaboration with Project Manager and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop the initial project schedule based on the contract and kickoff meeting discussions.
• Identify contractual milestones and dependencies between stakeholders.
• Identify the critical path and total float.
• Freeze the project schedule during the Project Planning Set Up meeting.
• Conduct regular project schedule reviews with project stakeholders.
• Update the schedule based on progress reports and decisions from project reviews.
• Track progress of tasks and update the baseline as needed.
• Document all project changes (e.g., change orders, staff changes, delays) for future reference.
• Update the final schedule to reflect the actual project execution (as-built data).

Job Summary

The Planner/Scheduler specializes in using Primavera P6 for scheduling. The PCA takes charge of managing SAP. For smaller projects, the PCA is a multi-tasker, handling both P6 scheduling and SAP tasks like closing WBS, Project Progress reports , invoicing clients, and maintaining project schedules.

He also creates and maintains the schedule using input from various departments and the Project Manager. They monitor and control project activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and stakeholders.

• Typically involved in large or complex projects.
• Uses scheduling tool: Primavera P6.
