Job summary

HELLA India Automotive Pvt Ltd. in Chennai is seeking a Project Associate Consultant to join a global, family-run company focused on automotive lighting and vehicle electronics. You will gather client requirements and document processes to shape project scope.

You will evaluate client solutions, finalize execution strategies with lead consultants, ensure timely delivery, and develop training materials, documentation, and analytical models while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience.
• Good commercial and business understanding.
• Strong research skills (quantitative and qualitative).
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Strategic planning capability and teamwork.
• Effective email writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Hands-on experience in Excel (VBA) and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop project documentation for future references.
• Keep up-to-date with legal and project requirements; ensure compliance.
• Develop training materials to build analytical capabilities.
• Write solution documentation, case studies, and marketing materials.
• Coordinate and supervise work events for senior consultants.
• Create analytical models using data visualization tools as needed.
• Establish and maintain sound customer relationships.

PROJECT ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT

YOUR TASKS

• Understand the needs of the clients and document their requirements and required processes.
• Evaluate the solutions recommended by the clients and explore alternatives.
• Finalize the solution with the help of lead consultant and prepare detailed strategy of project execution.
• Ensure successful execution of the project by providing all the necessary help to the project team.
• Keep track of project deliverables and ensure timely delivery to the client.
• Stay connected with client and keep communicating scope and progress in project at regular intervals.
• Discuss or highlight issues associated with the project with the client and proactively resolve the same.
• Focus on enhancing operations of the project by leveraging the processes, strategies, and guidelines.
• Perform routine quality security checks on activities being carried out on the project.
• Analyze software and hardware related bugs and communicate with IT.
• Provide specialized/technical support during project development on Process, Methods & Tools.
• Develop project documentation for future references
• Stay updated with the details of relevant legal & project requirements and help the project team to confirm legal obedience.
• Develop training materials to develop the analytical capabilities of the consulting team.
• Write solution documentation, case studies, and marketing materials
• Coordinate and supervise work events for senior consultants
• Create analytical models using data visualization tools as per the project requirements
• Establishing and maintaining sound customer relationships

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related discipline
• 2 - 4 Years of experience
• Good in Commercial and business understanding
• Good in Research skills (for both quantitative and qualitative issues)
• Good in Analytical skills
• Good in Strategic planning and problem-solving capability
• Good in Team collaboration skills
• Effective Email Writing Skills
• Should have the ability to work under pressure
• Hands on experience in Excel (VBA) and PowerPoint Presentation
• Knowledge on any Project Management Tools (for example, MS Project, SAP-PPM etc)
• Strong in Interpersonal, communication skills
