Job summary

Archestra in Mumbai seeks an Architect with 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience to independently manage projects from brief to delivery. The role involves direct client contact, coordination with consultants, and collaboration with a London-based team on commercial, residential, hospitality and retail projects.

You will lead client meetings, maintain relationships, and ensure design quality, technical performance, and timely delivery across project stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification professional experience.
• B.Arch degree.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing at least one project from start to finish, including direct client contact.
• Experience in commercial and residential projects, hospitality, retail and interior fit-outs.
• Ability to lead client meetings and manage client relationships.
• Experience coordinating consultants and contractors through project delivery.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and InDesign, with strong drawing and presentation skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English, including communication with UK-based clients.

Job description

An architecture and interior design practice in BKC, Mumbai- working across India and the UK is seeking an Architect with 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience. The role is suited to someone who can independently manage projects, maintain client relationships and coordinate consultants through project delivery.

You will take responsibility for projects from the initial brief through design development and technical delivery, balancing design quality, project programmes, client expectations and coordination with the wider team. The role involves regular collaboration with a London-based team and direct communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from initial briefing through design development, technical documentation and delivery.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English, including the ability to communicate directly with UK-based clients.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, solve problems and communicate project risks early.
