Job summary

Metso Vadodara is seeking a Project Administrator to support the BDH project management team. You will work from our Vadodara Engineering Centre, coordinating SAP-driven project activities and documentation to ensure on-time, accurate project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience with SAP, PCM exposure, and strong English communication. This role emphasizes collaboration across global stakeholders and adherence to Metso QHSE standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of experience in project administration, contracts, project control, procurement, quality control or scheduling.
• SAP working experience is mandatory; preferable in Principal Company Model (PCM).
• Global exposure with experience in MNCs and strong English communication, articulation and professional writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in executing upgrades using Principal Company Model in SAP; ensure projects are created, forecasted, updated, invoiced and closed.
• Participate in project-related handover and kick-off meetings as required.
• Perform SAP project activities from start-up to closure, including warranty projects in SAP.
• Compile and update internal and external progress, financial and resource reports.
• Assist in setting up, reviewing and maintaining a project schedule.
• Ensure stage-gate reviews and document system procedures are followed throughout execution.
• Provide SAP Key User support and training to BDH Project Managers and Engineers.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project procedures and templates.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Assist in onboarding new team members.
• Adhere to Metso processes, tools, policies, values and strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Metso QHSE standards.

Introduction

BDH Project Management team is looking for a Project Administrator in the Beneficiation, Dewatering and Hydrometallurgy (BDH) Business Line, Services for Vadodara Engineering Centre, Vadodara

Team You Belong To

This position is to provide critical support functions to the globally based BDH Project Managers and project teams.

What You’ll Do

• Support and collaborate with Project Managers in executing upgrade and modernization projects by utilizing the Principal Company Model approach in SAP in order to ensure projects are properly created, forecasted, updated, invoiced and closed.
• Participate in project-related handover and kick-off meetings as and when required
• Perform a variety of SAP-related project activities from project start-up until project closure; as well as activities related to handling the warranty project in SAP
• Perform a delegated responsibility as required for compilation, preparation and update of internal and external reports, e.g. progress, financial and resource reports
• Assist/coordinate in setting up, reviewing and maintaining a project schedule
• Make sure the stage gate reviews and activities related to document systems are followed throughout the projects execution phase
• Provide support and training as an SAP Key User to BDH Project Managers and Engineers
• Assist in the development, harmonization and maintenance of project procedures and document templates
• Provide support during internal and external audits
• Assist in onboarding of new team members
• Work in accordance with Metso processes, tools, policies, values and strategies
• Ensure Metso QHSE standards are followed

Who You Are

• Three plus years of experience in project administration, contracts, project control, procurement, quality control or scheduling.

• Global Exposure ie. s trong experience working in MNC environments with global stakeholders, complemented by excellent English communication, articulation and professional writing skills.
