Job description

Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in IT Professional MCA, BE, MSc in computer science.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing youth skill development and employability projects.

Strong understanding of youth skill development programmes, project management, placement processes, and market demand.

Good understanding of employment trends, opportunities, and placement processes in key sectors such as IT, BFSI, Retail, and Management.

Knowledge of the skill development ecosystem, training needs, and available support structures.

Excellent project and people management skills.

Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and liaise effectively with government departments and partner organisations.

Proficiency in MIS management, data analysis, and presentation.

Strong report writing and communication skills

Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and systems.

Financial planning and programme budgeting skills.

Job Profile

Lead and manage the implementation of the Skill Development Programme.

Organise placement drives, workshops, and promotional events to increase awareness and participation among youth.

Plan and execute training programmes, exposure visits, and placement support activities for selected candidates.

Liaise with donors, government departments, and industry partners to strengthen programme outcomes.

Maintain and update project data, reports, and MIS regularly.

Prepare periodic progress reports to communicate achievements and learning effectively.

Ensure efficient planning, utilisation, and monitoring of programme budgets.
