Job summary

Eaton in Maharashtra seeks an experienced Scrum Master/Program Manager to lead complex programs, driving agile adoption and ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction. You will coach teams, facilitate Scrum events, manage risks and dependencies, and work with Product Owner on backlog and metrics.

You will also streamline processes, mentor junior Scrum Masters, and ensure effective program governance across diverse projects and teams.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MTech degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in program and project management.
• Experience driving Agile/SAFe/LEAN adoption.

Job description

What You’ll Do

• Manage and oversee complex programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders
• Drive the adoption of agile development methodologies, including Scrum, across the organization by ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed.
• Coach and mentor other Scrum Masters and cross-functional teams in agile development best practices. Establishes objectives and goals and provides direction to the project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.
• Facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives and stakeholder meetings and report to the Leadership
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues, and manage dependencies across multiple teams. Manage effective customer communications. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements—communication and managing customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
• Monitor and report on program and project progress, and ensure transparency and visibility across the organization. Provide training to educate and reinforce Scrum methodology and Agile/SAFe/LEAN framework to the team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program plans and strategies. Responsible for working with the Product Owner in backlog management and for maintaining team burn-down charts, and other key metrics such as cumulative flow progress at a project level.
• Streamline operational processes and procedures, and ensure efficient and effective program delivery
• Manages complex New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), and Technology Exploration projects. Responsibility, Authority and Accountability (RAA) for project scope delivery and successful execution within the division's technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
• Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the project team by coordinating PM reviews, and preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
• Coordinate all risks and requirements of the project by planning, controlling, and integrating all project activities and deliverables and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
• Provides periodic project updates (Program Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high-risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional levels.
