Role: Program Manager, Operations
Location: Delhi
Experience: 1-3 years in the development sector
30-35k per month + travel allowance & other attractive benefits.
Role Overview
The Program Manager – Operations will work directly with the Program Lead and Senior Program Managers to implement the ECCE initiatives in the state and engage closely with the government departments including the Department of Women and Child Development and the Department of Education. The role focuses on translating program strategies into actionable plans, driving day‑to‑day coordination with internal teams, monitoring progress, and supporting field teams to deliver timely and high‑quality execution of program activities. The Program Manager tracks progress, troubleshoots implementation challenges, and contributes to strengthening systems and processes that enable smooth program delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Social Sciences, Education, Management, or a related field with 1–3 years of relevant experience in programme implementation, operations, government programmes, or development sector initiatives.
- Master’s degree in the above fields with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Prior experience working with government systems or supporting implementation of programmes at the district or field level will be preferred.

- Establishing and maintaining strong connections with district stakeholders.

- Regular sharing of relevant and actionable insights from the field to inform program improvements and decision‑making.
- Smooth and timely district‑wide implementation of program activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Support engagement by building and maintaining relationships with government officials, partners, and other stakeholders involved in program implementation.
- Facilitate meetings, field visits, and program review discussions as required.
- Share regular updates and monthly progress reports.
- Program Implementation
- Support the execution of program initiatives in the district in alignment with implementation plans.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure smooth rollout of activities, trainings, and interventions.
- Take full ownership of the projects/workstreams and manage them end‑to‑end, ensuring adherence to program timelines, processes, and implementation guidelines.
- Support to Field Teams
- Work closely with field teams to provide operational guidance and ensure effective program delivery.
- Support capacity‑building efforts for field teams when required.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Work with teams cutting across functions (policy, content, M&E, tech, etc.) to implement programs in the state and launch new initiatives.
- Facilitate smooth communication and information flow across teams to support effective program delivery.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare regular progress updates, implementation reports, and documentation of program activities.
- Capture field insights, lessons learned, and implementation challenges to inform program improvements.
