Job description

Rocket Learning, in partnership with ICDS Andhra Pradesh, is launching its ECCE program statewide. As a Program Lead, you will be responsible for successful planning, rollout, and management of the program across all districts, including stakeholder engagement, team leadership, performance tracking, and cross‑functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of Rocket Learning’s ECCE initiatives in Andhra Pradesh.
2. Build and manage strong working relationships with state departments, district officials, and other stakeholders.
3. Recruit, train, and manage a team of regional academic experts and field staff.
4. Use field insights and data analytics to create SOPs and support decision‑making.
5. Ensure timely data collection and reporting on key program indicators.
6. Collaborate with internal teams (content, tech, media, research) to localize and implement interventions.
7. Represent Rocket Learning in external meetings, workshops, and field reviews.

Requirements

Key Outcomes

1. Successful program launch in all districts in Andhra Pradesh.
2. Achievement of key metrics (coverage, activation, and engagement).
3. High‑quality field team in place and functioning effectively.
4. Seamless alignment and coordination with ICDS and other partners.
5. Timely reporting and course‑correction based on program data.

Required Qualifications

1. 6‑8 years of experience in program management, field operations, or implementation roles (NGO).
2. Prior team management experience.
3. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in Google Sheets, Forms, and basic data interpretation.
5. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across Andhra Pradesh.
6. Excellent command of English and Telugu.
7. Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, mission‑driven mindset.

Preferred Experience

1. Background in education, ECCE, or public systems.
2. Experience in multi‑stakeholder projects, particularly with government engagement.
3. Familiarity with community‑based programs.
