Job summary

Amazon in India (BLR office) seeks a Program Manager to redefine Selection strategy, prioritize gaps, and drive revenue opportunities using data and cross-functional collaboration.

You will own KPIs, build automated tracking, and guide initiatives from concept to delivery while coordinating with Account Managers, Catalogue, Instock, BI, and Tech teams.

This role requires strong analytical ability, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence without authority in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 3+ years defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Own Selection strategy and prioritization framework.
  • Identify Selection gaps and opportunities and size the associated revenue potential.
  • Prioritize products, vendors, brands or items for attention.
  • Define key Selection KPIs and build automated tracking mechanisms.
  • Track movements in KPIs and analyze trends to identify root causes.
  • Identify upstream causes of Selection loss and translate insights into interventions.
  • Establish mechanisms to measure the business impact of Selection initiatives.
  • Leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions to resolve Selection gaps at scale.
  • Drive adoption of Selection AI tools among Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with Tech and BI teams to improve automation and processes.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Catalogue, and Instock to address losses.
  • Influence stakeholders to align on priorities and drive execution.
  • Translate technical complexity into clear narratives for senior leadership.

About the Role -Selection Program Management

RBS VSP (Vendor Success Program) team is looking for a Program Manager to drive relevant Selection by redefining how RBS identifies, prioritizes, and closes Selection gaps, with a focus on the opportunities that matter most to customers.

The Selection Program Manager will be responsible for redefining Selection strategy and improving the breadth, depth, relevance and availability of product Selection available to customers, with a focus on sizeable revenue opportunity. The role uses data, customer insights, business metrics and cross‑functional mechanisms to identify selection gaps, prioritize opportunities and drive execution.

The role requires strong analytical ability, program management skills, and the ability to influence without authority in an ambiguous environment.

This role requires employees to work from our Amazon BLR office. (RTO)

Timings will be as per USA shift, 04:00 pm IST to 01:00 am IST

Key job responsibilities
Own Selection Strategy and Prioritization
  • Redefine how we prioritize Selection by building a framework to quantify what matters most to customers
  • Identify Selection gaps and opportunities and size the associated revenue potential
  • Deploy prioritization mechanism to determine which products, vendors, brands or items should be addressed first
Define and own key Selection metrics
  • Define key Selection KPIs and build a robust automated tracking mechanism
  • Track weekly/monthly/yearly movements in key KPIs, identify trends and analyze root causes behind changes in movement
  • Identify upstream causes of Selection loss or defects and translate insights into actionable interventions to improve Selection buyability.
  • Establish mechanisms to measure the business impact of Selection initiatives
Automation and Process Improvement
  • Leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions to enable scalable, self‑service resolution of Selection gaps.
  • Drive adoption of Selection AI tools among Account Managers.
  • Build mechanisms to enable businesses/AMs to manage Selection independently at scale
  • Collaborate with Tech and Business Intelligence teams to define automation or improve process efficiency.
Cross‑functional Collaboration and Execution
  • Partner with Account Managers, Profitability, Catalogue, and Instock teams to identify and address upstream causes of Selection loss.
  • Influence stakeholders without authority to align on priorities, drive execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Communication with Senior Leadership
  • Translate technical complexity into clear and compelling narratives, secure buy‑in for Selection related initiatives amidst competing priorities
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
