Key job responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve the seller-facing compliance interface, ensuring sellers can easily understand and act on EPR requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Orchestrate the development and launch of new compliance features, collaborating with engineering, science, and design teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve seller experience
• Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track enforcement accuracy, defect rates, and seller friction points — using data to prioritize fixes and measure impact
• Manage defect triage and resolution end-to-end, coordinating across operations, engineering, and policy teams to ensure timely fixes while maintaining system integrity
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in compliance workflows, focusing on reducing seller burden, improving automation, and scaling across new regulations

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of managing food safety and quality in a large-scale retail or manufacturing environment experience
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field
• Knowledge of retail food code and regulations governing grocery retail at local, state, and federal levels
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience handling confidential information
• Experience interacting with local food safety regulators

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
• Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
• Experience with SQL and Excel
