ZEISS India seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large software initiatives, plan agile development, mentor teams, and coordinate with product, QA and engineering to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in project management.
• Advanced knowledge in traditional project management and agile methods.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
• Experience in direct or lateral leadership of software developers and sub-disciplines of software development, such as algorithm developers or cybersecurity engineers.

Responsibilities

• Leading and implementing large or multiple small software projects or subprojects.
• Planning and tracking of agile development projects (deadlines, staying within budget, project scope, quality).
• Planning, delegating and monitoring work of team members.
• Coordination with parallel running projects.
• Create and maintain technical specifications and design documents.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams on best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions meet functional, performance, and regulatory requirements.
