Job summary

Capco is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager in Bengaluru to lead enterprise transformations across AI, cloud modernization and portfolio delivery. The role requires coordinating across Product, Engineering, Architecture and Business leaders to define technology roadmaps and drive strategic initiatives.

The candidate will manage governance, budgeting and risk while ensuring delivery excellence through Agile, DevOps and CI/CD practices, with a strong client-facing and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management or related leadership roles.
• Strong engineering background with progression from SWE/Tech Lead/SA to PM.

Responsibilities

Technical Program Manager (AI, Cloud & Portfolio Delivery)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong engineering background who has progressed from Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect into Program Management. The role will lead enterprise transformation, AI/GenAI, cloud modernization, strategic pre-sales initiatives, and portfolio delivery across multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology and transformation programs.
• Drive AI/GenAI, cloud migration, application modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Own program governance, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Manage a portfolio of programs, ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Business leaders to define technology roadmaps.
• Support pre-sales, solutioning, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, client presentations, and proposal development.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and clients as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into technology solutions.
• Ensure delivery excellence through Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• Prior hands-on experience in Java, Python, .NET, or other enterprise technologies.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI, LLMs, Machine Learning concepts, and modern data platforms.
• Microservices, APIs, Kafka, Event-Driven Architecture, and Distributed Systems.
• Agile, Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD, and Program Governance.
• Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience managing technology portfolios worth multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Strong background in pre-sales, solution consulting, and strategic account management.
• Certifications such as PMP, SAFe, AWS, Azure, or Cloud certifications.
