Job summary

Endurance Technologies is seeking a Cost Engineer in India to handle product cost calculations, BOM analysis, and detailed cost estimation using engineering drawings. You will collaborate with design, testing, procurement, and manufacturing teams to optimize costs and track budget adherence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial/production engineering, strong materials and process knowledge, and proficiency in Excel, ERP costing modules, and cost modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, machining times, material properties, and reading technical blueprints.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, ERP costing modules, and specialized cost-modeling or project tools.
• Ability to run cost trade-off scenarios, volume sensitivity analysis, and lifecycle cost assessments.

• Cost Estimation: Calculate expenses for raw materials, assembly cycle times, tooling, and secondary operations using engineering drawings

• Variance & Budget Tracking: Monitor project and product cost performance, comparing actual expenditures against baseline budgets
• Cost Optimization: Partner with R&D and design teams to apply Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFMA) principles. Loss Making Area Identification
• Price Amendment Tracking
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, testing, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and customer to align on specifications and deliverables.
