The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) seeks a senior Lead Programme to steer AI education and academic direction, shaping AI curricula and industry-aligned learning for students and professionals.

The role focuses on teaching, curriculum design, mentoring, and faculty development to integrate AI across AVGC-XR and creative tech programs.

Qualifications

• 18–20 years of experience in academics, AI education, computer science, data science, ML, EdTech, research or technology education.
• Strong teaching experience in Artificial Intelligence, ML, Data Science, Generative AI, Agentic AI or related areas.
• Experience in curriculum development, academic planning, faculty development and student mentoring.
• Ability to simplify complex AI concepts for learners from creative, media and technology backgrounds.
• Understanding of AI tools used in content creation, design, video, animation, gaming, XR/VR, and creative workflows.
• Experience in creative technology, media, animation, gaming, XR/VR, VFX, design technology or EdTech is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, academic leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design AI curriculum for foundation, advanced and professional-level learners.
• Build AI modules for Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, XR/VR, Virtual Production, Digital Media and Content Creation.
• Conduct workshops, masterclasses, hands-on labs and project-based learning sessions.
• Mentor students on AI-based projects, portfolios and innovation ideas.
• Train faculty and internal teams on AI tools, AI workflows and responsible AI usage.
• Create assignments, assessments, rubrics, project briefs and measurable learning outcomes.
• Support AI research, innovation pilots, industry collaborations and academic initiatives.
• Help position IICT as a leader in AI-enabled creative technology education.

The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) is looking for a senior, future-focused and hands-on Lead Programme to lead, teach and build IICT’s academic direction in Artificial Intelligence.

IICT is building India’s future-facing ecosystem for Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, XR/VR, Digital Media, Content Creation and Creative Technologies.

This is a teaching + academic leadership role for someone who can make AI practical, exciting and industry-relevant for students, faculty and creative technology professionals.

About the Role

The Lead Programm will be responsible for building IICT’s AI academic framework, conducting sessions, designing curriculum, mentoring students, training faculty and integrating AI into AVGC-XR and creative technology programs.

The ideal candidate should understand AI not only as a technology subject, but also as a practical tool for creativity, productivity, storytelling, design, automation, content creation and future-ready careers.

We Are Looking For

• Strong teaching experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, Agentic AI or related areas
• Experience in curriculum development, academic planning, faculty development and student mentoring

Education

• Ph.D. in AI / Computer Science / Data Science / Machine Learning / Creative Technology will be strongly preferred
• Certifications in AI, ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Data Science, Cloud AI, Responsible AI or Prompt Engineering will be an added advantage.
