Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience.
• Administrative/academic leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with curriculum planning, examinations, and faculty supervision.

Responsibilities

• Solely responsible for Unit / Department programs.
• Responsible for Academic Plan, Sessional Planning, Time table management, and Examination pertaining to the respective Unit/department.
• Shall be responsible for supervising the lectures, practicals, tutorials, and other sessions as per the assigned workload.
• Supervise the quality, appropriateness, and relevance of academic offerings of the School including degrees, programs, specializations, and courses
• Responsible for periodic reviews of all programs, degrees, courses, and specializations and their continuous improvements
• Ensure that the curriculum is appropriately taught within the required timeframe
• Work on overall academic improvement and enhance knowledge for a better learning environment for the students
• Ensure the examination processes are conducted fairly and properly
• Encourage students to utilize university facilities to upgrade their knowledge and enhance the learning
