Quest Alliance in Tamil Nadu seeks a Program Lead to drive end-to-end program delivery across ITIs, government bodies, and CSO partners. You will steer work plans, monitoring & reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure quality and achievement of goals.

You will also oversee ToT, capacity building, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure center independence and sustainable partnerships, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience managing stakeholders in government settings and/or in education institutions
• Excellent communication in English and Tamil (mandatory)
• Demonstrated passion for addressing the challenges of educating India’s youth

Responsabilités

• Develop and track work plans; ensure adherence to timelines and standards
• Conduct regular reviews with trainers, centers, stakeholders
• Support Training of Trainers (ToT) and ensure gradual center independence
• Build and manage relationships with government bodies, ITIs, and CSO partners
• Ensure MoU compliance across training, placements, and subgrant utilization
• Collaborate with placement teams to strengthen industry engagement
• Coordinate with internal teams for delivery
• Oversee state-level project execution and ensure deliverables are met
• Support career development programs, especially in Women ITIs
• Ensure timely data flow for monitoring, assessments, and reporting
• Align with regional leadership to achieve annual program targets
• Ensure accurate M&E data submission and reporting
• Coordinate baseline, endline, and other assessments
• Maintain updated student and center databases
• Document case studies, success stories, and program evidence
• Manage program teams, fellows, and interns; define and review team goals
• Plan and enable capacity-building initiatives for effective delivery
• Foster accountability, ownership, and high-performance culture
• Travel locally and across the country as needed

Requirements

The role will lead program implementation across Tamil Nadu, working closely with ITIs, government departments, CSO partners and internal teams to ensure effective delivery, quality and achievement of program goals. A key focus of the role will be leading the young people & Work agenda across ITIs, strengthening institute ownership, supporting young learners' transition to employment and self-employment, and building the capacity of institute teams. The role will also oversee stakeholder management, team performance, monitoring and reporting, while driving sustainable partnerships and reducing dependency on Quest Alliance over time.

Responsibilities

1. Program Implementation & Delivery

• Drive end-to-end program execution aligned with state and project goals

• Align with regional/state leadership to achieve annual program targets

4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of M&E data and reports
• Coordinate baseline, endline, and other assessments
• Maintain updated student and center databases
• Document case studies, success stories, and program evidence

5. Team Management & Capacity Building

• Manage program teams, fellows, and interns (as applicable)
• Define and review team goals (annual and quarterly)
• Plan and enable capacity-building initiatives for effective delivery
• Foster accountability, ownership, and high-performance culture

Requirements

Eligibility

• 3-5 years experience managing stakeholders in government settings and/or in education institutions
• Excellent communication in English and Tamil (mandatory)
• Demonstrated passion for addressing the challenges of educating India’s youth

Salary

The pay band for the position starts at Rs.60,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
