Job summary

Quest Alliance in Karnataka is hiring a Program Associate to support the Schools Program in Devanahalli and Bangalore Rural District. You will focus on effective program delivery, mentoring master trainers and teachers, and coordinating district-level stakeholder engagement.

The role involves leading ideation events, coordinating trainings, and maintaining documentation, dashboards, and reporting. You will travel within districts to support implementation and work with government stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Fluency in Kannada (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of the Schools Program across assigned districts.
• Mentor master trainers and teachers to ensure quality delivery.
• Coordinate with district officials and DIET representatives for stakeholder engagement.
• Organize systemwide events and learner engagement activities.
• Support monitoring frameworks, data management, and reporting.
• Ensure training documentation and follow-up actions are completed on time.

About Us

We are hiring a Program Associate to support the implementation of our Schools Program in Devanahalli and Bangalore Rural District of Karnataka, Devanahalli being the base location. This role will focus on effective program delivery, mentoring master trainers and teachers, facilitating student-led innovation events like Ideathons and Hackathons, and managing district-level stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will bring experience in teaching, strong training and communication skills, and a deep understanding of working with government systems and education programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme Implementation & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Ideathon, Hackathon, and future skills interventions across assigned districts, ensuring achievement of programme targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Master Trainers (MTs), teachers, and schools to ensure timely execution of programme activities and milestones.
• Organise school and district-level events, showcases, recognition initiatives, and learner engagement activities.
• Teacher & Master Trainer Enablement
• Mentor, coach, and support MTs and teachers in planning and delivering programme interventions effectively.
• Facilitate Communities of Practice (CoPs), review meetings, engagement calls, and WhatsApp-based learning communities.
• Conduct regular school visits and classroom observations to provide on-ground support and strengthen implementation quality.
• Training Coordination & Capacity Building
• Coordinate planning and delivery of cascade trainings at district and block levels in collaboration with programme and learning teams.
• Support MTs in designing, facilitating, and tracking high-quality training experiences.
• Ensure training-related documentation, participation records, and follow-up actions are completed accurately and on time.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with district officials, DIET representatives, school leaders, and teachers to support programme implementation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for MTs, teachers, and schools, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Represent Quest Alliance in district-level reviews, collaborative collectives, and stakeholder engagement forums.
• Monitoring, Reporting & Data Management
• Support implementation of monitoring frameworks, assessments, and programme tracking systems.
• Maintain accurate programme data, monitor dashboards, and ensure timely resolution of data and technology-related issues.
• Compile reports, document best practices and impact stories, and provide regular updates on programme progress and outcomes.
• Operational Excellence, Compliance & Professional Growth
• Ensure adherence to organisational policies, financial procedures, systems, and reporting requirements.
• Participate actively in team reviews, planning processes, staff engagement activities, and performance management processes.
• Take ownership of personal learning goals and continuously build capabilities to improve programme effectiveness and professional growth.

Requirements

Required Experiences & Skills

• 1–2 years’ experience in teaching, mentoring, or education program delivery
• Proven experience working with government stakeholders
• Strong skills in training delivery, communication, and report writing
• Willingness to travel frequently within districts
• Fluency in Kannada (spoken and written)
• Brownie Points: Prior exposure to or interest in STEM mindset, computational thinking or critical thinking approaches in education

Salary

The pay band for the position starts at Rs.32,000/- per month (cost to company) ( The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
