Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and laboratory manuals.
• Adopt innovative teaching methodologies and Outcome-Based Education practices.
• Mentor students in academics, research, internships, placements, and career development.

Research & Innovation

• Undertake quality research leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.
• Secure sponsored research projects, consultancy assignments, patents, and technology transfer opportunities.
• Guide undergraduate projects, postgraduate dissertations, and doctoral scholars, as applicable.

Academic Administration

Qualifications

• Experience Requirements

Assistant Professor

• Strong academic record with B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech.
• Ph.D. completed or pursuing is desirable.
• Teaching, research, industry experience, publications, patents, or consultancy will be an added advantage.

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industry experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
• Good research publications and experience in funded projects, consultancy, or research guidance are desirable.

Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 5 years as an Associate Professor or equivalent.
• Proven academic leadership with a strong record of research publications, funded projects, consultancy, patents, Ph.D. guidance, and institutional development.
