Job summary

Veradigm is seeking a Manager Professional Services to lead our hybrid-capable team in Pune, India. The role entails managing professional services delivery to Veradigm clients, ensuring on-time implementations, and driving client satisfaction.

You will guide staff, handle escalation, and support revenue and billing processes while maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years in professional services or project management and at least 2 years in a healthcare IT

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
  • 5-10 years in professional services consultancy and/or project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare environment or IT projects within healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Professional Services in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Monitor progress of projects to ensure on-time delivery; provide direction to staff.
  • Act as escalation point for client concerns and cross-department issues; escalate when needed.
  • Manage revenue projections, billing for assigned sites, and collaboration with sales for new opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following up with clients and delivering high-quality service.

Job Summary

Responsible for management of process/procedures and ongoing management of a professional services organization delivering services to Veradigm's clients. Billable utilization of team (if applicable) Contract analysis Expense Management Procurement


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage Professional Services in accordance with established standards and guidelines.

  • Monitor progress of Professional Services and /or site implementations to ensure on-time, successful schedules. Provide direction and guidance to staff.

  • Act as escalation point for issues with other departments. Acts as an escalation point for client concerns. Escalates issues to upper management as necessary.

  • Monitor utilization of process guidelines and project management tools by consultants. Identifies areas requiring improvement or modification and implements corrective action.

  • Manage revenue projections, revenue recognition and billing for assigned sites.

  • Actively participate with the sales organization in closing new business opportunities.

  • Regularly follow-up with clients to ensure that our service offerings are meeting their expectations.

  • Demonstrate superior client service. Identify areas of poor client service or client dissatisfaction and take action to correct.

  • Ensure proper client training materials are developed and readily available.

  • Provide on-going development, feedback, coaching and mentoring to Professional Services team.

  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare market trends and resultant service requirements.

  • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies

  • Set and communicate team/individual objectives to inspire individuals to achieve high performance

  • Allocate workload to fully utilize every employee’s talent

  • Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent

  • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner

  • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent & Create team spirit.


Additional Work Experience (Preferred)

2+ years of relevant experience in working for a healthcare institution and an understanding of IT projects, budgeting & other related processes within healthcare environment.


Required

5-10 years in professional services consultancy and or project management


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Excellent Client facing skills with ability to engage with Senior & Key executives


Working Arrangements


  • Standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements

  • Primarily works in standard office environment or remotely

  • May require after-hours, on-call support and/or holidays

  • On-call and after hours work during peak times including end of month/quarter/year; during this time PTO is limited to meet business needs


Travel


  • Up to 10% travel may be required


Qualifications
