Job summary

Allot is hiring a Professional Services Engineer in Mumbai as part of the Asia Pacific Customer Success team. You will stage, deploy, and upgrade Allot products at customer sites and work closely with R&D, PM, and PS teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires DevOps/system administration knowledge, Cloud Native skills (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting ability, and strong communication. Fluency in English and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge as a DevOps engineer or system administrator.
• Cloud Native technologies incl. Docker, Containers, Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, Ansible or similar.
• Self-learner with ability to pick up new tech quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer focus.
• Ability to understand complicated technical deployments.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Stage systems in the lab to verify required functionality.
• Support remote Professional Services in deploying Allot products at customers.
• Assist in executing proofs of concepts, trials and demos.

The Professional Services engineer has a crucial role to the success of the company, delivering new products and solution to Allot customers. Working closely with R&D, Product Management, Pre-sales, solution architecture and peers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Stage systems offered to customers in the lab to verify the required functionality.
• Responsible for supporting our remote PS in deploying Allot's products at our customers.
• Responsible for supporting our remote PS in execution of proof of concepts, trials and demos.
• Deliver technical training internally to Customer Success teams.
• Perform installations and upgrades, as well as Interoperability Testing (IoT)
• Create technical documents including LLD (low level design), ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) and MOPs (Method of Procedure).
• Serve as technical leader.
