Acuity became an independent business in 2019 following its acquisition from Moody’s Corporation by Equistone Partners Europe. In 2023, funds advised by global private equity firm Permira acquired a majority stake, with Equistone remaining a minority investor supporting our continued growth and innovation.
Our European finance teams are responsible for the end-to-end accounting, billing, and reporting of our German, Austrian, Swiss, and UK entities. Revenue recognition and billing are currently managed by individual subject-matter experts per region without a designated deputy. This role is being created to strengthen the Order-to-Cash (O2C) and revenue workstream across both regions, act as a fully‑fledged backup for the regional revenue owners, and build resilience and segregation of duties into the revenue process.
Based in India and working as an integrated member of the European finance organisation, the Professional Revenue will co‑own the operational revenue recognition and billing cycle for both regions and support the coordination of the monthly and year‑end close, collaborating closely with the Senior Revenue Accountant DACH, the Senior Manager Finance UK (accountable owner of the UK revenue workstream), and Group Finance.
