Job summary

Zinnov Management Consulting is seeking a Professional, Observability Services for a Global MedTech client in Bengaluru. You will help establish the India Global Capability Centre (GCC) and drive enterprise technology, digital transformation, and innovation across global operations.

You will implement and maintain observability across infrastructure, apps, and cloud services, configure multiple monitoring tools, and create dashboards and alerts to improve issue visibility and proactive

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in observability, monitoring, APM, logging, or enterprise scheduling in technology-services environments.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise observability/APM tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, New Relic, or equivalent.
  • Experience with log analytics and dashboards using Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, or comparable platforms.
  • Working knowledge of metrics, logs, traces, alerting, OpenTelemetry concepts, service health, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience administering enterprise scheduling/workload automation tools such as Control-M, AutoSys, Tidal, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain observability across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, containers, and critical business services.
  • Configure tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.
  • Create dashboards, service-health views, alerts, thresholds, anomaly detection, and operational reporting.
  • Support enterprise job scheduling and workload automation using Control-M, AutoSys, Tidal, or comparable platforms.
  • Partner with teams during incidents and root cause analysis using telemetry to isolate issues.
  • Improve alert quality by reducing noise, tuning thresholds, and defining ownership.
  • Instrument applications and platforms using OpenTelemetry agents/SDKs and APIs.
  • Automate monitoring and scheduling tasks using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or platform APIs.
  • Maintain monitoring standards, runbooks, service metrics, and ITSM/regulatory documentation.

Zinnov is hiring for the role of Professional, Observability Services on behalf of a Global MNC MedTech client a company where technology sits at the center of everything: powering how the core business operates day to day and shaping the products and digital solutions that will define the future of patient care.


This role is part of the company's establishment of their new India Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, which will drive enterprise technology, digital transformation, and innovation for its global operations, contributing to technology that ultimately helps millions of people around the world.


How you'll make an impact
  • Implement and maintain observability across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, containers, and critical business services using metrics, logs, traces, and synthetic monitoring.
  • Configure tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.
  • Create dashboards, service-health views, alerts, thresholds, anomaly detection, and operational reporting that improve proactive issue identification and service visibility.
  • Support enterprise job scheduling and workload automation using BMC Control-M, AutoSys, Tidal, or comparable scheduling platforms, including dependencies, calendars, retries, and failure recovery.
  • Partner with application, infrastructure, and service-management teams during incidents and root cause analysis, using telemetry to isolate performance and availability issues.
  • Improve alert quality by reducing noise, tuning thresholds, correlating events, defining ownership, and aligning monitors to service-level objectives.
  • Instrument applications and platforms using OpenTelemetry agents/SDKs, log forwarding, APM agents, cloud-native monitoring, or integration APIs where appropriate.
  • Automate monitoring and scheduling tasks using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or platform APIs to improve consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain monitoring standards, runbooks, service metrics, documentation, and continuous-improvement actions aligned with ITSM and regulatory expectations.

Skills Required:
  • 4-7 years of experience supporting observability, monitoring, application performance management, logging, or enterprise job scheduling in technology-services environments.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise observability/APM tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, New Relic, or equivalent.
  • Experience with log analytics and dashboards using Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, or comparable platforms.
  • Working knowledge of metrics, logs, traces, alerting, OpenTelemetry concepts, service health, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience administering enterprise scheduling/workload automation tools such as Control-M, AutoSys, Tidal, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to monitoring cloud and container platforms such as Azure/AWS and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Basic scripting/automation capability using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or APIs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and ownership skills.

Preferred:
  • Experience with SRE practices, SLI/SLO design, synthetic monitoring, event correlation, AIOps, or ServiceNow Event Management.
  • Experience supporting observability in regulated, highly available, or global enterprise environments.
  • Relevant cloud, monitoring/APM, ITIL, or workload-automation certifications preferred.
