Job summary

HARTING Technology Group in Chennai is seeking a specialist to implement system requirements for the Nexus-based R&D Project Planning Tool within the Commercial Project Management framework. You will liaise across departments to ensure smooth integration of planning and cost data.

The role also includes administering CPM BI Tools (PowerBI) and Nexus, monitoring system health, and providing second-line support while developing CPM KPIs to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and data modelling skills for KPI monitoring.
• Experience in project and cost management.
• Solution-oriented thinking with cross-department collaboration.
• Programming skills in JavaScript, VBScript, and DAX.

Responsibilities

• Implement system requirements in JS-based R&D Project Planning Tool (Nexus) as defined by CPM framework.
• Represent Commercial Project Management in the multi-department Nexus Development Team.
• Coordinate application-related demands between CPM and Nexus teams.
• System Administrator for CPM BI Tools (PowerBI) and Nexus tool.
• Monitor system health of Nexus Cost Module and CPM BI Tools.
• Provide 2nd level support for CPM BI Tools and R&D Planning tools.
• Develop and monitor CPM KPIs.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing system requirements in JS-based R&D Project Planning Tool (Nexus) defined by the Commercial Project Management framework
• Representing the Commercial Project Management in the multi-department Development Team of Nexus
• Coordinate application related demands between Commercial Project Management and Nexus Development Team
• System Administrator for CPM BI Tools (currently PowerBI), R&D Project Planning Tool (Nexus)
• supervising System Health of Nexus Cost Module and CPM's BI Tools
• 2nd Level support for business partner for CPM BI Tools and R&D Project Planning Tools,
• develop and monitor CPM KPIs
