Job summary

Tor.ai Limited in Pune is seeking a hands-on Production Testing Technician to support testing and validation of Tor.ai's electronic products during manufacturing. The role requires basic electronics knowledge, comfort with electronic test instruments, and the ability to follow defined testing procedures accurately.

The candidate will perform functional testing, inspect assemblies, flash firmware, operate test software, and record results while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
• Understanding of electronic assembly and functional testing.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to perform firmware flashing and operate test software.
• Hands-on knowledge of multimeters, DC power supplies and basic electronic testing instruments.
• Ability to understand and follow test procedures, work instructions and SOPs.
• Good attention to detail and discipline while performing repetitive production tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of electronic devices and assemblies as per defined test procedures and SOPs.
• Inspect electronic assemblies and identify basic functional or assembly-related issues.
• Perform firmware flashing/programming of electronic devices as required.
• Operate computer-based testing and diagnostic software during production testing.
• Use testing instruments such as DC power supplies, digital multimeters and other electronic test equipment.
• Record test results accurately and identify units that fail defined acceptance criteria.
• Report testing failures or abnormalities to the concerned production/technical team.
• Follow defined quality, safety and production testing processes.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Production Testing professional to support the testing and validation of Tor.ais electronic products during manufacturing.

The role requires basic electronics knowledge, comfort with electronic test instruments and the ability to follow defined testing procedures accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of electronic devices and assemblies as per defined test procedures and SOPs.
• Inspect electronic assemblies and identify basic functional or assembly‑related issues.
• Perform firmware flashing/programming of electronic devices as required.
• Operate computer‑based testing and diagnostic software during production testing.
• Use testing instruments such as DC power supplies, digital multimeters and other electronic test equipment.
• Record test results accurately and identify units that fail defined acceptance criteria.
• Report testing failures or abnormalities to the concerned production/technical team.
