Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited, a Tata Group venture, is building India's first AI-enabled semiconductor foundry. This role focuses on establishing product test processes and maintaining test equipment in electronics manufacturing.

The candidate will install, debug, and accept new test equipment, draft procedures, train operators, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality across production lines.

Qualifications

Diploma/BE/BTECH/BCA/BSc required or equivalent.
2 to 15 years of relevant experience in electronics test and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Install, debug and accept new test equipment.
Maintain test equipment and solve problems to support production.
Ensure product quality requirements are met in the area.
Draft work instructions & procedures; manage technical files.
Develop test processes to reduce cycle time.
Draft training materials and train operators.
Cross project support to meet org objectives.
Downtime analysis and tester/product troubleshooting; track issues.
ICT programming and fine tuning.
Line setup, edit programs, order fixtures and verify new product lines.
Test method development and capacity improvement.
PM and process improvements for efficiency (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).

Role Overview:

To be responsible for establishment of product test process and maintenance test equipment in electronics manufacturing industry.
Professional knowledge of Electronics / Mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

To install, debug and accept new test equipment.
To maintain test equipment and solve problems concerning with test equipment and test process to support production.
To ensure that the product quality requirements are taken care of in the defined work area.
To draft work instructions & procedures, manage and update technical files.
To develop the test process to reduce test cycle time.
To draft training material and conduct training for operators.
Cross project support & assistance to meet the org objectives.
Downtime analysis, Troubleshooting of tester and product, Issue Tracking, Contingency plan, backup solutions. Improvements, cost saving.
Sound ICT Principles.
ICT Programming knowledge.
ICT Programming and fine tuning.
Basics of Components-Actives and Passives.
Debugging and Analytical ability.
Thorough Knowledge of Quality tools (Cpk, G R & R, PFMEA).
Tester Validation, ensure all products meet quality standards through rigorous testing. Zero defect, Lean, SOP/WI,8D,5W, GR & R, CpCpK.6 Sigma.
Test yield improvement / Direct test equipment troubleshooting / PM.
Line set up / Edit new program / Order new fixture and check it / verify the new product line.
Test method development / Test time reduction / capacity improvement.
PM, implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. OEE, MTBF, MTTR. Effective spare Management.
