Job summary

Greytip Software Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Production Engineer (Electronic Board Test Engineer) to test, troubleshoot, and assure the quality of PCB assemblies. You will execute test procedures, analyze issues, and support ongoing production improvements.

Responsibilities include ICT of PCBs, diagnosing root causes, developing test setups for NPI, and training technicians. A Diploma or BE in electronics is required with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of PCB testing or electronics production experience.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital and mixed‑signal circuits.
• Hands‑on with test equipment (DMM/oscilloscope/LA/PS).
• Familiarity with ESD handling and soldering/rework.
• Experience with ATE or functional test jigs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and in-circuit testing (ICT) of PCB assemblies.

• Prepare and maintain test procedures, checklists, and quality records.
• Collaborate with R&D and production to implement DFT improvements.

We are seeking a Production Engineer (Electronic Board Test Engineer) responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality of electronic assemblies and PCB boards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing test procedures, identifying issues at the board and component level, and supporting continuous improvement in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and in-circuit testing (ICT) of assembled electronic boards (PCBs).
• Troubleshoot and analyze defective boards to identify root causes (component-level and circuit-level).
• Prepare and maintain test procedures, checklists, and quality records.
• Work closely with the R&D and production teams to resolve technical issues and implement design-for-test (DFT) improvements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and validating test setups and jigs.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with production and quality standards.
• Assist in calibration and maintenance of test equipment and instruments.
• Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for better yield and efficiency.
• Train technicians and operators on test processes and quality inspection techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics field.
• 2–5 years of experience in PCB assembly testing or electronics production environment.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Hands-on experience with test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with ESD handling, soldering/rework practices, and PCB schematics reading.
• Experience in using automated test equipment (ATE) or functional test jigs is an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
