Job summary

Qualifications

• OpenShift administration and support experience.

• Monitor production alerts and ensure SLA adherence.
• ITIL processes compliance and change management guidance.
• 15 years of full-time education completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications.
• Coordinate incident resolution with development and infra teams.
• Perform RCA and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Support containerized apps on OpenShift and monitor MongoDB health.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Technical Skills

OpenShift

• Experience in OpenShift Container Platform administration and support.
• Knowledge of Pods, Deployments, Services, Routes, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.
• Troubleshooting container and application deployment issues.
• Log analysis using OpenShift CLI and monitoring tools.

MongoDB

• MongoDB administration and support experience.
• Query execution, performance monitoring, and indexing strategies.
• Backup, recovery, replication, and troubleshooting.
• Experience handling production database issues.

SQL

• Strong SQL querying and debugging skills.
• Experience with complex joins, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning.
• Data validation and troubleshooting using SQL.

Change & Release Support

• Support application deployments and release activities.

Database Support

• Monitor MongoDB database health and performance.
• Execute SQL scripts and support data correction activities when required.

Application Monitoring

• Utilize monitoring tools to track infrastructure and application performance.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and capacity concerns.
• Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications.
• Monitor application health, system performance, and infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Support containerized applications deployed on OpenShift platforms.
• Monitor and manage MongoDB databases, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams during incident resolution.
• Handle deployment support, application releases, and production validation.
• Create and maintain knowledge base documents, SOPs, and support runbooks.
• Participate in on-call support and rotational shifts, if required.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

• Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
