Job summary

Ameriprise India LLP in Noida is seeking an Automation Specialist with 1.5–3.5 years of hands-on experience to support enterprise applications and automation tasks, including batch processing and incident resolution.

You will perform code reviews, implement minor enhancements, and work across Windows and Unix/Linux environments, using Python or PowerShell, CI/CD tools, and AWS services to ensure high availability and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• Automation through Python/PowerShell.
• CICD Tools – Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory.
• AWS Knowledge (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, CFT) POC (Proof of Concept) implementation.
• SQL scripting.
• Windows OS knowledge (Registry Editor, Group Policies, Server Roles)

Job Description

In this role the person will be responsible for ensuring success of business-critical application operations by supporting the day-to-day batch processing, analyzing and fixing the issues on priority while adhering to standards and SLAs. The person should be able to support High priority(P1/P2) incidents dynamically by providing timely resolution for the problem and handle other service requests. The person will also be responsible for handling minor enhancements, perform code reviews, handle application outages(planned/unplanned) and responsible for performance and maintenance of the highly critical business application. For this role we are looking for a highly motivated Individual who will be working as Tech operations analysts working in technologies. The person should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate business acumen while working closely with business users to understand requirements and help team translate it into technical changes. Provide end to end production support and derive immediate resolutions/root-cause of the incidents arising in distributed systems to ensure quick restoration of service degradation and hence minimal business impact. 1.5 - 3.5 years of experience as Automation Specialist or equivalent.

Must have skills:

• Automation through Python/PowerShell.
• CICD Tools – Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory.
• AWS Knowledge (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, CFT) POC (Proof of Concept) implementation.
• SQL scripting.
• Windows OS knowledge (Registry Editor, Group Policies, Server Roles etc.)

Good to have skills:

• Troubleshooting skills.
• Microsoft HPC ITIL process understanding.
• Tools – SNOW, JIRA, Confluence.
• ETL tools – Informatica, TWS Knowledge regarding hardware and software support with experience in windows environment support in Microsoft stack (Office, Visio, .NET, SQL Server Technologies – SQL databases).
• Strong analytics experience for troubleshooting issues within diverse application environments (windows/Unix/Linux). Preferably Windows.
• Excellent organization skills, team player with diverse team of vendors/employee location across the globe.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure taking end to end ownership of issues and driving resolution.
