Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Production Supervisor for the CTC department in an on-site setting. You will oversee daily operations, ensure adherence to plans and SOPs, and drive efficiency while coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include quality checks on enamelled wires/strips, in-process inspections, and reporting deviations. Supervisory duties cover manpower, training, and safety compliance to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in production of enamelled copper & aluminium wires/strips.
• Prior supervisory experience in a wire & conductor manufacturing setup preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of CTC Production.
• Ensure production is carried out as per the given plan, shift targets, and standard operating procedures.
• Minimize downtime by coordinating with maintenance and ensuring quick problem resolution.
• Ensure enamel-coated wires/strips meet required technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Conduct and verify in-process checks (adhesion, flexibility, coating, dimensions, curing).
• Report deviations immediately and coordinate corrective actions.
• Reduce rejections, rework, and maintain records of defects.
• Assign and supervise work to operators and helpers in the enamelling section.
• Ensure proper shift-wise manpower allocation and discipline.
• Train operators on SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Motivate team to achieve higher productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and ensure smooth running of enamelling machines, curing ovens, and handling systems.
• Ensure dies, varnishes, and consumables are properly used and handled.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and report breakdowns to maintenance team.
• Enforce strict adherence to plant safety rules, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Prepare daily production and quality reports and share with superiors.
