Job summary

MS Agarwal Foundries Pvt Ltd is seeking a Production Planning and Control (PPC) leader to oversee centralized planning for all plants. You will align production with sales orders, dispatch priorities, and material availability, while monitoring capacity, yield, downtime, and inventory across locations.

The role requires strong planning, analytical, and coordination skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and MIS to drive efficiency and senior-management reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of TMT bar manufacturing and operations.
• Excellent planning, analytical, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Strong MS Excel/ERP/MIS knowledge.
• Ability to manage PPC across multiple plants and work closely with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized PPC, ensuring production across plants is aligned with sales orders, dispatch requirements, raw-material availability, inventory targets, and overall business priorities.
• Develop and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for all plants.
• Consolidate plant-wise production capacity, schedules, and requirements.
• Coordinate with Plant Heads, Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales, and Dispatch teams.
• Monitor Plan vs. Actual Production, yield, rejection, downtime, and capacity utilization.
• Plan billet/raw-material requirements and monitor inventory levels across plants.
• Align production plans with sales orders, stock levels, and dispatch priorities.
• Identify production gaps, bottlenecks, and risks and drive timely corrective actions with plant teams.
• Monitor finished-goods inventory and optimize stock across locations.
• Prepare and present PPC MIS and performance dashboards to senior management.
• Drive improvements in productivity, inventory control, yield, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
