Job summary

Lupin Ltd in India seeks an Officer – Production to oversee Granulation, Compression, Coating and Encapsulation processes. You will ensure GMP/GxP compliance, manage material flow, and maintain hygiene across production areas.

You will coordinate with QC, R&D, Engineering, QA and other teams, drive continuous improvement, handle deviations and change controls, and support validation activities to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Comply with GMP, GxP, EH&S and regulatory requirements.
• Complete training on SOPs and report deviations.
• Plan departmental activities to meet delivery schedules and ensure material availability.
• Coordinate with QC, R&D, Engineering, QA for smooth production operations.
• Maintain hygiene and adhere to current good manufacturing practices.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and materials; manage inventory.
• Investigate deviations, non-conformities, and complaints; implement CAPAs.
• Oversee validation activities and review qualification documents.
• Update procedures to improve productivity.
• Troubleshoot machinery and processes; implement change controls.
• Support quality management systems and report discrepancies to QA heads.
• Handle any other assignment allocated by Unit Head.

• Comply with all GMP, GxP, and any other applicable regulatory requirements, including EH&S requirements.
• Complete training on relevant SOPs and perform tasks as per the applicable procedures, reporting any deviations or difficulties.
• Plan departmental activities as per delivery schedules, ensuring material availability and proper handling of raw materials, bulk, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with QC, R&D, Engineering, QA, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Maintain hygiene, discipline, and current good manufacturing practices in all production areas.
• Optimize usage of manpower, machinery, and materials, manage inventory, and allocate jobs effectively.
• Conduct investigations for deviations, non-conformities, and complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee validation activities, prepare and review qualification documents, and update procedures to improve productivity.
• Perform troubleshooting for machinery and processes and ensure effective implementation of change controls.
• Support quality management systems and report discrepancies, non-conformance, or incidents to department and QA heads.
• Any other assignment allocated by Unit Head.
