Job summary

Mounee Consulting Services Private Limited in Palwal is seeking a Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing of webbing and lashing products. You will plan daily, weekly and monthly production schedules and oversee weaving, dyeing, cutting, stitching and finishing operations on site.

The role requires 6–10 years of experience in webbing/textile manufacturing, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of production planning, quality control and manpower management.

Qualifications

• Requires 8–15 years in webbing, lashing, narrow fabric, or industrial textile manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of webbing looms, weaving processes, polyester yarns, dyeing, stitching and lashing assembly.
• Experience with cargo lashing/tie-down systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
• Oversee manufacturing of polyester webbing, tie-down straps, ratchet straps and related products.
• Manage weaving, dyeing, cutting, stitching, sewing, assembly and finishing operations.
• Ensure optimum utilization of weaving and stitching machines and other production equipment.
• Monitor production output, productivity, machine efficiency and rejection rates.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for webbing and lashing products.
• Ensure compliance with EN, DIN, ISO, BIS and customer-specific standards.
• Manage manpower planning, shift schedules and workforce productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Dispatch teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Control raw-material consumption, wastage and manufacturing costs.
• Maintain production MIS, daily production reports and KPI dashboards.
• Lead preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
• Train and develop supervisors, operators and production staff.
• Ensure safety procedures and factory regulations are followed.

Role Overview

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the complete manufacturing operations for webbing and lashing products, ensuring production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency and timely dispatch are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
2. Oversee manufacturing of polyester webbing, tie-down straps, ratchet straps, cargo lashing belts and related products.
3. Manage weaving, dyeing, cutting, stitching, sewing, assembly and finishing operations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• 8–15 years of experience in webbing, lashing, narrow fabric, technical textiles or industrial textile manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of webbing looms, weaving processes, polyester yarns, dyeing, stitching and lashing assembly.
• Experience in manufacturing cargo lashing/tie-down systems will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality control and manpower management.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing a medium to large-scale production team.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field preferred.

Key KPIs:

Production output, machine efficiency, OEE, rejection %, wastage %, on-time delivery, manpower productivity and production cost per unit.
