Abha Biotechnology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the entire nutraceutical manufacturing process at our Powder section.

The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of hands-on experience in nutraceutical or food supplement production, with strong GMP, FSSAI compliance knowledge and a track record of process optimization. You will develop and manage production schedules, drive efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with procurement, quality

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production schedules to meet demand and timelines
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff for high performance and compliance
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, HACCP, FSSAI and other regulatory standards
• Coordinate procurement, inventory and plant resources for smooth operations
• Maintain production records, BMRs and SOPs; prepare status reports

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

• Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
• Alignment production team for next two three production plan
• Coordination with vendors for vendor audits. .
• Work and coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments
• To verify Compliance and certification of vendor.
• Ensure quality of supplied material is as per defined parameters and to maintain vendor ratings.
• To ensure correct material is purchased as per PDR.
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers with minimum and maximum price list
• To maintain contract with suppliers considering the supply terms
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Search and source potential suppliers and vendors
• Track, measure and analyse company expenditures

Preference: Monday to Saturday (1st , 3rd, 5th Saturday off)

• To Conduct experimental analysis for the assigned Projects.
• 2. Develop and optimize formulations of Nutraceutical & Herbal products using appropriate technology and scientific principles.
• 3. Ensure formulations meet regulatory/FSSAI guidelines and industry standards.
• Design and execute formulation trials, analytical testing and evaluate stability data to finalize formulation composition.
• Sensory Evaluation of trial Samples & Samples Sharing of NPD with BD Person/Clients.
• Develop manufacturing processes for R&D formulations so that the technical transfer is successful for large scale batches.
• Support technology transfer for manufacturing processes from laboratory scale to production scale

• 100% adherence to the timelines for resolving the team queries.
• 10. Prepare and share relevant reports capturing work status related to new product development with reporting manager on daily basis.
• Prepare and manage all types of documents which are required in the product development process i.e. Logbook, BOM, Master Formula Record, Artwork, Validation report etc. on daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have 8 to 15 years of hands-on experience in nutraceutical or food supplement production, with a strong understanding of GMP, FSSAI regulatory compliance, and process optimization.

• Production Planning & Execution:
  1. Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts.
  2. Monitor daily production activities and ensure targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
• Process Optimization:
  1. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
  2. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• People Management :
  1. Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance and compliance.
  2. Maintain discipline, safety, and morale among team members.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  1. Ensure adherence to cGMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and other regulatory standards.
  2. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to maintain product quality.
• Inventory & Resource Management:
  1. Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams for timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
  2. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment and machinery.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  1. Maintain accurate production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and SOPs.
  2. Prepare regular reports on production efficiency, downtime, and other key metrics.

Qualification : Graduation or Master in Food Technology/ Biology/ Biotechnology

• Writing reports, reviews and summaries.
• Reporting of sales analysis to management.
