3iglobal in India is seeking a Production Manager/Sr. Manager for its facility in Chakan, Pune. The role covers end-to-end production planning, shop-floor management, quality adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives, aiming for on-time delivery and optimized efficiency.

You will lead cross-functional teams to plan capacity, manage materials, and drive KPIs such as productivity, downtime reduction, and WIP control. Experience in Lean, 5S and Kaizen is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Plan machine capacity, manpower, materials and tooling requirements.
• Monitor planned versus actual production and take corrective action for deviations.
• Control WIP, production lead time and bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage daily shop-floor operations and achieve production targets.
• Improve machine utilization, productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
• Reduce downtime, cycle time, rejection, rework and scrap.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality to reduce rejection and customer complaints.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and process controls.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
• Develop employee skills and monitor team performance.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of raw materials, tools and consumables.
• Prepare daily and monthly production reports and MIS.
• Track production achievement, machine utilization, downtime, rejection and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Control (PPC)
