R2R Consultants LLP in India invites an experienced Production Head for Rubber Manufacturing. The role leads plant setup, machine erection, commissioning, and overall production operations.

Seeking candidates with hands-on rubber processing experience, strong leadership, and expertise in calendering, compounding, and quality improvement. BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Rubber Tech, Polymer or Chemical Eng required; diploma holders not eligible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in rubber sheeting, belting, or similar flat rubber products.
• Experience operating internal mixers, calenders, curing/vulcanising equipment, and grinding machines.
• Strong knowledge of rubber compounding, thickness control, and process parameters.
• Experience in production planning, team management, troubleshooting, and quality improvement.

Hiring: Production Head Rubber Manufacturing

Experience: More than 15 years, including 3 TO 5 years in production leadership. Working knowledge of Excel/ERP and production data reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead plant setup, machine erection, commissioning, and production operations. Manage rubber mixing, calendering, compounding, and belting processes. Handle production planning, quality control, CAPA, and rejection/wastage reduction. Manage shopfloor teams across shifts, maintenance coordination, and SOP compliance. Drive machine utilisation, process improvement, FIFO inventory control, and production reporting.

Mandatory Requirements

Hands-on experience in rubber sheeting, belting, or similar flat rubber products. Roller manufacturing alone is not sufficient. Practical experience operating internal mixers, calenders, curing/vulcanising equipment, and grinding machines. Strong knowledge of rubber compounding, thickness control, and process parameters. Experience in production planning, team management, troubleshooting, and quality improvement.

Qualification

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Rubber Technology, Polymer, or Chemical Engineering. Diploma holders are not eligible.
