Job summary

Gigatorb Software Pvt Ltd in Pithampur is seeking a seasoned Production Head to lead and manage fabrication operations. You will drive production planning, supervise welding and fabrication processes, and ensure timely delivery with adherence to quality standards.

The role requires 12–15 years of experience in heavy fabrication, strong leadership, and expertise in reading engineering drawings and production reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical/Production Engineering is required.
• 12–15 years of experience in Heavy Fabrication or Manufacturing is essential.
• Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication processes and welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in production planning, manpower management, and shop floor supervision.
• Knowledge of quality standards, fabrication inspections, and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all production activities in the fabrication shop.
• Plan, monitor, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Supervise fabrication processes including cutting, welding, fitting, assembly, and dispatch.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
• Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor productivity, minimize production losses, and reduce rework.
• Ensure all production activities comply with engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Maintain production reports, WIP status, daily output records, and performance metrics.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain discipline across the shop floor.
• Train, guide, and supervise production supervisors, welders, fitters, and machine operators.
• Ensure timely completion of customer orders and dispatch schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead and manage production operations in a heavy fabrication manufacturing unit.
