Job summary

Abbott India Ltd in India’s manufacturing hub seeks an Executive Production to oversee cGMP compliant operations on liquid manufacturing, packing and stick pack lines, ensuring product quality and safety.

You will coordinate equipment installation and qualification, support new product internalization, supervise SOPs, train staff, investigate deviations, and drive ongoing improvements with KPI targets.

• Ensure compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices in Liquid Manufacturing, Packing and Stick pack.
• Coordination for installation and qualification of production equipment and validated methods.
• Coordination for New Product Internalization with specifications and validated methods
• Coordination with supply chain management for monthly planning and materials.
• Review and approval of standard operating procedures and master documents of production and batch documents.
• Implementation of Quality Management System as per cGMP and international requirements at all levels of Manufacturing with target of all-time readiness.
• Ensure training and evaluation of Technicians and Executives for their task qualifications to operate specific equipment.
• Investigation in case of process deviation, non-compliance, market complaints, product failure, product recall and out of specification.
• Ensure production records are evaluated and signed by authorized personnel before sending to QA.
• Monitoring and control of manpower utilization, yield, waste data and budget.
• Organizing job responsibilities to the Executive & technicians per daily plan.
• To exercise effective control over the process variables affecting product quality.
• Maintain production area and equipment cleanliness as per SOPs at all times.
• Compliance to master documents
• Continuous monitoring and improving production output; KPIs include Zero accident, Zero FOV loss and First Time Right.

Followings will be the Core Job Responsibilities of the position holder:

1. Ensure the Compliance to laid standards of the current Good Manufacturing Practices in the Liquid Manufacturing, Packing and Stick pack.
