Job summary

Bayfield Food Ingredients is seeking a Production Executive to oversee daily manufacturing activities in Angamali, Kerala. You will plan, execute and monitor production to ensure timely output, efficient resource use, and strict adherence to food safety standards.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience and relevant qualifications in food technology or related fields. You will collaborate with QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse and Maintenance teams to achieve targets and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ B.Tech / B.E. in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience: 2–5 years in production environments.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily production activities as per production schedules.
• Monitor output, productivity and process efficiency to meet targets and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse, Procurement and Maintenance for uninterrupted production.
• Monitor material usage, yield, wastage and inventory levels.
• Ensure proper machine utilization and line balancing.

Role Summary

The Production Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring daily production activities to ensure timely manufacturing, optimum resource utilization, product quality, and compliance with food safety standards. The role involves coordinating with Production, QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets while driving continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily production activities as per production schedules.
• Monitor production output, productivity, and process efficiency to meet quality and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, R&D, Warehouse, Procurement, and Maintenance for uninterrupted production.
• Monitor raw material consumption, yield, wastage, and inventory utilization.
• Ensure proper machine utilization, line balancing, and manpower allocation.
• Investigate production issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records, and production MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, and statutory requirements.
• Train and guide shop-floor operators on production processes and best practices.
