Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is looking for a candidate to support shipyard operations with a focus on material flow, production supervision, and quality control. The role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring safety compliance, and managing subcontractor manpower to meet the project schedule.

Responsibilities include QA/QC inspections for hot works, preparation of QMS and commissioning documents, and applying lessons learned for continual improvement across processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Material flow management including MR requests, tracking, coordination and addressing shortfalls before fabrication.
• Production supervision with emphasis on quality, safety, maintenance, daily consumable requirements and machinery.
• Inspections and QA/QC coordination for hot works, such as cable trays, supports, foundations, cable installation and testing.
• Revision, rejection and rework to be documented and reported to identify root causes.
• Prepare QMS related documentation and commissioning-related documents.
• Provide commissioning support and apply lessons learned for continual improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality norms of the shipyard and manage subcontractor manpower to meet the schedule.
• Coordinate to ensure smooth workflow and cross-departmental collaboration.

• Inspections - QA &b QC correspondences for hot works such as cable trays, supports and other foundations, cable installation, termination and testing.
• Revision, Rejection, Rework to be documented and informed to the concern department to identify source of problem.
• Prepare QMS related documents.
• Prepare commissioning related documents.
• Commissioning support.
