Job summary

The candidate will read and prepare drawings and BOMs, manage subcontractors, and drive timely completion of scopes. Proficiency in MS Office/ERP and a strong shipyard background are essential.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of piping jobs for repair/refit/conversion of ships
• Ensure timely completion as per scope of work
• Maintain safety and quality norms in shipyard
• Manage subcontractors' manpower and adherence to schedule
• Coordinate with inter-departments for smooth workflow
• Identify SOW and prepare drawings & BOM
• Raising material and service PRs
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with EHS and quality norms
• Reading and preparation of piping drawings and BOM

Job description

• Planning and execution of piping jobs of repair/refit/conversion of ships.
• Timely completion of piping jobs as per scope of work.
• Compliance of safety and quality norms of Ship yard.
• Managing subcontractor’s manpower and adherence of job schedule.
• Ensuring the smooth work flow, coordinating with inter-departments.
• Rendering various Reports etcIdentification of SOW.
• Microplanning and scheduling.
• Preparation of Drawing & BOM.
• Raising of various material and service PRs.
• Execution of SOW as per DLs.
• Ensuring EHS and Quality norms.
• Undertaking various inspection, HATs and SATsSound knowledge on ship’s system and equipment.
• Competency in pipe fabrication, erection and commissioning.
• Reading and preparation of drawings and BOM.
• Sound domain knowledge on Piping & Marine related systems.
• Working experience on Refit ships on Piping/Engineering systems.
• Piping fabrication, erection knowledge.
