Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and execute E&I production activities for offshore wind projects in India. You will supervise installation of electrical systems, cabling, grounding, lighting, and instrumentation.

You will review drawings and schedules, coordinate with engineering, planning, QA/QC, and construction teams, monitor daily progress, ensure material readiness, and supervise subcontractors to meet productivity and quality

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) production activities for Offshore Wind projects.
• Supervise installation of electrical systems, cable trays, cable laying, cable termination, grounding/earthing, lighting, and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, project procedures, and client requirements.
• Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, and I/O lists.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QA/QC, Material Control, and Construction teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor daily production activities and ensure achievement of project schedules and milestones.
• Ensure availability of materials, manpower, tools, consumables, and equipment for execution.
• Prepare work fronts and ensure readiness before commencement of production activities.
• Supervise subcontractors and workforce to achieve productivity and quality targets.
• Monitor fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing activities of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Coordinate installation and integration of offshore wind substation electrical equipment and control systems.
