Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Establish and maintain correct machine parameters using Scientific Moulding principles.
• Defect Troubleshooting: Identify and fix plastic defects like short shots, warpage, flash, sink marks, and air pockets.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability of new plastic parts.
• Tooling & Trialing: Conduct mold validation trials for new tools and approve them for mass production.
• Robot & Automation Programming: Set up and program auxiliary equipment, including pick-and-place robots and material mixers.
• Continuous Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cycle times and costs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain process sheets, SOPs, and safety records.
