Job summary

Accumax is seeking a production engineer to plan and execute manufacturing activities for bioprocess equipment in Pune, India. The role involves supervising assembly, fabrication, installation and testing, with close coordination across Design, Purchase, QA/QC, Stores and Project teams.

The candidate should understand biopharmaceutical processes and exhibit strong problem-solving and hands-on leadership on the shop floor, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Understanding of biopharmaceutical processes and equipment such as TFF, filtration, chromatography, mixing systems and process skids.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination and communication skills with a hands-on approach to production.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production activities as per project timelines and delivery schedules.
• Manage manpower planning, deployment and shop-floor productivity.
• Supervise assembly, fabrication, installation and testing of bioprocess equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors for fabrication, machining and outsourced manufacturing activities.
• Support vendor evaluation, qualification and performance monitoring.
• Ensure production activities comply with quality, safety and GMP requirements. Maintain production records, inspection reports, checklists and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, QA/QC, Stores and Project teams for smooth execution.
