Job summary

Paramount Steel Structures is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead and coordinate PEB manufacturing activities. The role focuses on planning, monitoring, and optimizing production to ensure timely delivery with strict quality and safety adherence.

You will manage fabrication, welding, drilling, bolting, blasting, painting, and assembly processes, while mentoring shop-floor personnel and driving cost-saving initiatives. Strong leadership and process improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, coordinating and monitoring production in a PEB facility.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and erection plans.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards in steel fabrication.
• Track record of reducing wastage and improving OEE.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day production activities in the PEB facility.
• Achieve production targets while ensuring quality, safety, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor fabrication, welding, drilling, bolting, blasting, painting, and assembly operations.
• Optimize machine utilization and drive efficiency improvements.
• Supervise shop-floor manpower to maximize productivity.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores for smooth flow.
• Ensure SOPs and safety regulations are followed.
• Review production drawings before execution.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and minimize material wastage.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Prepare daily production reports and MIS for management.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time.

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with a strong background in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality, safety, and cost efficiency. The role requires expertise in fabrication processes, manpower management, and production planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day production activities in the PEB manufacturing facility.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor fabrication, welding, drilling, bolting, blasting, painting, and assembly operations.
• Optimize machine utilization and improve production efficiency.
• Supervise and manage shop-floor manpower, ensuring optimum productivity.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
• Review production drawings and fabrication details before execution.
• Minimize material wastage and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
• Prepare daily production reports and MIS for management review.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of PEB manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, bolting, painting, and assembly.
• Experience working with EOT cranes, CNC cutting machines, automatic welding lines, and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret PEB fabrication drawings, GA drawings, shop drawings, and erection plans.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and capacity utilization.
• Familiarity with quality standards and safety practices in steel fabrication.

Preferred Experience
